As a bachelor with a penchant for health, my favorite three meals are probably not going to excite or interest anyone. Instead, lets try a what if.
What if I had a family?
Well, that would mean a wife and kid(s). Taking that into account, and sprinkling in a nice mix of international flavor, lets go with a classic as number one: Pizza.
We would gather every Friday night for a meal to celebrate the beginning of another weekend. Instead of having dinner in the dining room, we would have our home made pizza in the living room, where we would enjoy movie night together. I would revive an old tradition: the TV table (I know some of you remember)
Second on the list is the universally loved taco night. This one is far too messy for the living room, but kids love it because its like the choose your own adventure dinner. Lets make Wednesday night the time to celebrate Mexican culture. What starts as hard shell tacos usually devolves into a taco salad, and that is fine. All part of the adventure yea?
Last on the list of irreproachable meals must be home made chocolate chip cookies. The smell of cookies fresh out of the oven is almost as wonderful as the first warm and gooey bite. Not a meal you say? I think my imaginary children would beg to differ. The real challenge is not eating all the cookie dough raw.
Fiction can be absolutely delectable. Enjoy your Friday friends, and have a slice for me!
