Today was a low key day.
I had an opportunity to join a good friend on a road trip across the prairies. It was a perfect chance to spend some time together before I head off on the next adventure.
This particular friend is an excellent conversationalist, and we share many interests. The discussion ranged from philosophy to music, and nearly every thing in between. The coffee was fresh, tunes were bumping, and the sun shone brightly on our voyage across the frozen plains.
Just a quick comment on the Starbucks in North Battleford Saskatchewan. It is a hidden jewel. Lots of helpful staff on hand, welcoming and open interior space, and as always, quality coffee. Just be aware that google maps has the location incorrectly listed – it is not actually to be found in the trailer park 🙂
Overall a great afternoon, and time well spent.
My current organizational task is to go through all of my application and website passwords to ensure I maintain access. I recently had my Instagram account frozen, so clearing up whatever mistake occurred was also a priority today.
After reinstating the Instagram account, I also signed up for Threads and Bluesky.
Closing thought. When prepping for a long trip its normal to feel as though we are forgetting something. I remedy this by making a checklist, and reminding myself of the following. We live in a global marketplace. Almost anything I need will be available wherever I may be.
Until next time, Stay Wild!
