The Wild

It has been quite some time since my last entry here. Life has been busy, and my personal circumstances have not been conducive to what I hoped to do with this blog.

The initial plan was to use this platform to promote an outdoors lifestyle, and to discuss matters pertaining to the natural world. Somewhere along the line my own life direction was altered, and this site turned into a place to primarily practice the art of writing.

Along the way I met some other very talented and kind people. After so many months away I know that the connections I made here have faded, and that I will be starting anew.

This means that it is a perfect time to assess my efforts here, and to adjust my goals and expectations with regard to The Wild. If my life is no longer going to be focused on outdoors experiences perhaps I would be better served by developing a new site. Or maybe I should redesign this one to better reflect my life as it is now.

Either way I do plan to resume regular entries. To those who will read this, thank you for your patience. If anyone cares to offer feedback please contact me through the form, or leave me a comment.
